Do you believe in second chances?

In my opinion, this is a very controversial issue because there are very different situations and sometimes you can get a second chance and you can give it to someone. However, for me, such cases as treason cannot be given a second chance under any circumstances. What do you think?

This is a good way to look at it, also as the OP says, a betrayal is never forgiven, trust takes years to earn and seconds to lose.
