I've decided to ditch Circle and use BuddyPress as my upcoming paid community.
The community will focus on blogging (mainly using WordPress). It's only right to keep the environment familiar to blogging.
How am I doing it?
The community will focus on blogging (mainly using WordPress). It's only right to keep the environment familiar to blogging.
How am I doing it?
- Using Restrict Content Pro a paid addon for membership on WordPress.
- I bought 5 licenses for $150.00 a year versus the $100 a month for 1 license on Circle.
- The paid version comes with BuddyPress integration.
- BuddyPress is like a social network for WordPress blogs.
- I'll use the Restrict Content Pro and charge for BuddyPress membership.
- I'll use Loom to make videos for the education side of it.
- I'll use a Drip Content addon to schedule learning content for each member.
- I'll use bbPress for the community aspect and members have their public timeline
- Social groups are another feature to utilize
- I'm optimistic that it was a great choice
