Did your parents teach you to save?

Did your parents teach you the value of saving and how to save when you were a child? How did they do it? They tried to instill in me that everything I didn't spend I should save it iin a piggy bank and I always did it, imagine how far all that has gone that my avatar is a piggy bank hahaha.

No, they didn't. They pretty much left me to my own self and my own business. Anyway, I'm not sure if it was a good idea or not, but I don't really like over-parenting and I wouldn't subject my son to it (He's almost 4 years old now.).
