When it comes to the kind of bank card that you apply for and make use of for your transactions, which one do you always go for between a debit card and credit card?

Personally, I love using debit card more than I do with credit card. I have both of them but only pull out my credit card on serious emergency cases.

How about you?

I am someone who prefers to avoid having a credit card as I feel it would be too tempting to just spend and then have to pay it all back. I would much rather just use my debit card and only be able to spend what I know I have so that I do not run the risk of leaving myself in financial trouble.

Hate to break it to you, but I'm a credit card person. :p

I have both, use credit cards a lot of the time because they give you cash back, usually like 2% on all purchases. Recently I had let one of them build up for a while and I cashed in my rewards balance and got $200 in free money :D

Also credit cards are completely free to use if you don't carry a balance. If you pay off whatever you spent each month they wont charge you interest or anything like that. Just make sure when you apply for one, it doesn't have an annual fee (some do, but most dont).

The catch line there is being able to pay off what you have spent which most people don't do it especially they are those kind that are into impulsive buying. I actually used to be like that and I knew what it cost me.

Side note : Where's my share of the free $200 Mr Nebulous 😂 😂

I use a debit card. I don't like credit cards and probably won't use one either as I like to know how much I have in my account and how much I can spend.

I've never applied for credit card since I started using bank cards. It's only debit card I've been using which have served me adequately.

I'd rather just spend the money I know I have instead of spending money and then pay it all back.

I like to use my own money, by using my own money, I am also able to cut unnecessary spending. That's why l like using Debit Card more than Credit Card. However, I have a Credit Card just in case I need something and do not have funds on my Debit Card.
