When it comes to Youtube, clearly not everyone will be able to build a decent channel with decent number of subscribers for many reasons, one of these reasons might be that you are working on a niche, that unfortunately not everyone is interested on, which means you have to move on, what niches do you think are pretty dead and not worth taking on consideration?

Some niches might not be profitable, and I think it's mainly really narrowed down ones, and those that have to do with weird hobbies.

One person I met loves playing with snakes and wants to start a channel about it, but just how many people are interested in a 'how to train your snake' tutorial?

Another is those that are too competitive. It will be a waste of time to target those.

That's true, that's some niche website that has long fade out base on the selected niche type. Visitors might grow frustrated about it, and unimpressed about the directed niche type the website concentrates. So when a website owner finds this kind challenging issues on the site. All he got to do is change the niche he is concentrating on, to a better and enticing topics/contents.

You’re looking in from the outside, and it’s hard to know for sure what profits exist in the business. But you can be fairly certain that if you find a lot of competition on your topic, the niche you’re looking at is a profitable one.

Dead niches that aren't worth it can not profit a business.
Product an object or image that people doesn't like on a webpage will run down or set down a business.
It is better to look at topics that are people friendly to post on your blog or YouTube handle than discussing things that doesn't command interest.
For you to maximize profit share product that will entice people mind and are interesting to discuss on page.

There are no dead niches, the niche you call dead others are making millions on it, all you need to do is re-strategize, improve on your marketing strategy, and try as much as possible to gather enough knowledge and make enquiries on the Niche you are Venturing in

I agree with you on this. There are no dead niches, there are just very boring niches. One should come up with strategies to make even an old niche to look attractive and interesting. It is through provision of quality content that you succeed in any niche.

that's true, one should look for something that people love watching whereby at some point some niches are not really worth trying for there people who may not be interested with your contents .so what is required of you is to change the niche and go for what people likes and that can help you get subscribers and more likes

I was watching some YouTube channel and this teenager who was focusing on life goals in the new year got everything so messed up and even went as far as giving relationship advice. I would not be surprised if her only subscribers would be her family and friends obliged to support her.

My point is, pick niches that you are extremely good and knowledgeable at.

For the monetisation the main things that are much important are Search Engine Organisation, Niche and keywords. These should be well organised and managed for bringing traffic on your platform and focus should on these.

I think it would be hard to tell, yes to you some niches might seem very out of place ,but I'm sure there are people who are particularly interested, maybe not enough to be known. However I understand people's need to have a solid niche.

There is no such thing as a dead niche. Just because some people did not profit from a niche does not mean another person will not make it there.
I know a youtuber that repost tik tok videos on his channel, he never made his own video but today he has over 10000 subscribers.
If one niche does not work for you, don't discourage others from trying that niche.

I don't think there is something like dead niche. However, it is true that some niches get more traction than the others. I believe you should stop working on seasonal topic because after sometime the video stops generating traffic (because the season ended).

You want to start an online business, but you have no idea what the best niche markets are?

Well, you’re not alone.

In fact, choosing a niche is one of the biggest hurdles faced by most digital entrepreneurs.

This is also the point where these same entrepreneurs stumble and fall because they make a critical mistake: They assume.

And this assumption is they think they’ve found an untapped niche market based on their own perceptions, or their desired target audience. This is what’s called confirmation bias – you think something exists therefore it does.

So, what most online entrepreneurs do is forge ahead, deciding to be mavericks. Blazing a trail in a brand new market they’re passionate about.

You then fast forward several months into the life of their niche business only to see that they’re not making any money. Their passion for their niche is undeniable. But the issue was nobody was spending their cash in that market.

I completely understand your points, there is for every category for sure a certain number for followers, but a dead niche actually means a niche that has only a few number of them, a very small number that's not really worth the effort

I understand now, in that case my advise would be for the person to just move on to better things. However no matter the niche or what's been talked about in the YouTube video with the proper marketing and ad strategy, I'm sure it will garner a lot of viewers.

Sure you are right, one needs to work on niches that are needed on a daily basis, one of those is the weight-loss aspect generally I don't fully believe in the weight loss but I noticed weight loss topics ,videos and materials have enjoyed a wide patronage from over the world so the best thing is to focus on a niche that is generally needed by people on a daily basis.

These niches you are asking for is called Your Money for Your Life niche. These are niches that are highly competitive in nature, that is, it only the big corporation that are capable of competing in that niche. Examples of such niches are Loan, Finance, Health, Relationship, Politics, Businesses, Law etc. It's very hard for newbie to compete these niches, it takes for every to rank in these Niche on Google.

It is not that easy to decide which niches are dead because it all depends on the person who created a site and the targeted followers who will be interested in the contents of the pages you will be putting on your wall.

As far as I am concerned, there are no dead niches. Rather some niche are more knowned and popular than others. If you can position your self to connect with the right audience for your niche. I can assure you your niche will come alive.
