Customer trying to enter private business space?

A few years ago, I used to work at a shop. I encountered a customer who was really strange. He tried to enter the private space of our business. This annoyed me a lot because a customer does not have the right to enter the private space. So, in case if you encounter such kind of customers, then what should you do?
