Amazon will always look at their employees as a number. This is why they are treated so poorly. Once a company gets that large, workers are typically a second thought and looked as completely replaceable. I think Amazon is looking for ways to rid people from most of the process when it comes to shipping. I know they started using warehouse stock robots in a few places already.

Although I think it is not the right thing to do, referring to the treatment of employees, it is something that usually happens as you say when the company becomes as gigantic as is the case of Amazon, since it would not be efficient from my point of view to be addressing the specific needs of each employee, in addition the cuts of which the news speaks are totally understandable also in the economic context in which we find ourselves. where companies have greatly reduced their profit margins, and therefore, cuts in all areas of the business are a necessity, starting with reducing the workforce.
