Wordpress is considered an ideal content management system for a blog. However, I would like to know if there are other content management systems that can be used to build a blog?

There's loads of CMS' out there that you can use for a blog but it's all about the features you want which determines which is best for you. WordPress is probably the easiest one to use for most, but there's also some other great alternatives like Ghost, Statamic, Craft and Perch.

It all boils down to the system architecture and how easy you find it to maintain / manage it really. All of them do the same thing and have pros and cons.

You can also create blog with Joomla or drupal, but wordpress is the ideal content management systems for a blog. I have experimented a lot of content management systems but settled with wordpress

Blogger.com is another great content management software that you can use to build a blog and this software is actually a very good software that you can run a very high standard blog. I made use of this to build my blog and the blog has been going strong from strength to strength.

The reason why word press is popular and widely used is because it is very easy to use and can even be used on phones. But that doesn't mean it is the only content management available.

Whenever someone meets me for consultations about then wanting to starting a blog and in a budget, I never hesitate to throw the WordPress and blue go st suggestion.

Correct one there. The over popularity in the use of WordPress as a content management toll by so many also has to do with the ease of it's use most of the time.

I don't think there is another content management that can be better than WordPress, base on the review giving to WordPress I think is the best so far. So there is no need to be looking for any other one I guess.

yes, wordpress is the best, but I would like to know about other content management system that are also appropriate for blog. I hear that people have also build blog on joomla and drupl.

A content management system (CMS) is an application that helps you create and manage a website via a human-friendly interface rather than needing to work directly with code.

Over the rest of this post, we’ll dig into the question of “what is a content management system” in more detail and share some examples of the most popular content management systems.

Wordpress is the best content management system for blog. There is no need to look for other content management systems. Even if you want to create a multi site or multi author blog, wordpress is just perfect.

I think there should be other content management system for blog but since I started Blogging the only one i have been hearing about and I have also used is WordPress.

WordPress is the best content management system for managing a blog and so far so good I think other one I know is Drupal though I haven't use it before.

For me it is the 3-7 rule, that is to bring out at least 3 content within a week so as not to choke your viewers by posting daily.

There are many different types of content management systems (CMSs) and blogging systems that allow you to publish content to the Internet. Following are a few popular types of CMS/Blogging software, based on a variety of technologies:
  • WordPress
  • Drupal
  • Wiki
  • Blogger

For a blog, Wordpress is the best content management system. Other content management systems aren't required. WordPress is ideal if you want to construct a multi-site or multi-author blog.

Just like a lot of people have said. WordPress is still the best preferably because it is easy to use and accessible. However quite a few have been listed if you want to check those out.

There is a blog section on this forum. This forum uses Xenforo script. I think if you are using a forum, you can try Xenforo as it also offers blogging option.
