Combining words or using puns?

Puns seem to be popular online, especially when it comes to meme circles and online humor.

Well, i really don't know what this puns is all about. I might i've seen someone making use of puns but i didn't realize it was puns. Could you enlighten me more on this puns?

Just it is proverb about website and this is when you google them like the following example:
Why doesn't people discover new websites any more?
Because no one is using Internet Explorer.
What do you call a website with ADHD?
A hyper link.

When it comes to choosing a domain name I always go for keyword-based domains because your domain can attract traffic only when it uses keywords. My second preference is to make it as short as possible because shorter domains are easier to remember.
