Back when Invisionfree was bought out by TapaTalk, I attempted to build a forum system that could be used as a base for a SAAS forum system. I gave up cause it was a massive undertaking. Then I found the project in my archives about a month ago and rewrote the whole forum from scratch.

The result is a new forum based on my own forum software. Right now I don't know what to do with it, so it's just a general/coding discussion forum. Also a good place to test if the forum software will actually hold up to real use.

I actually think this would be great software for a tutorial, news, or blogging style of community. You could create News subsections (Tech, Politics, and etc) and allow either a closed community or users to generate content. It is open and clean enough to look like a sophisticated News website software.

Either way I think it looks great. ;)

Thank you! I still don't know how to run a community so it's probably dead. But I suppose it's a good place to test new ideas in the wild and see if anything breaks.
Well it all depends on when you release the software, when it starts getting used and you being the only one who gives support. The community will follow then. 😜
