Guest articles are a great way to market your site or business out there. But an added bonus is to do co-guest articles, as in you do an article for someone, and they do one for you. This adds more potential traffic to the mix and gives you a lot more options as well. And it helps the other site owner and creates a working relationship with them.

Partnering with another blogger to get him publish on your site and reciprocating in the same manner (publishing article on his site) is a great way to get free content, build backlink, and get traffic. When you partner with another blogger, you can drive his traffic to your site. You will also be able to build a small community of like minded bloggers.

Guest posting it's still very effective for SEO but you have to do it right. Posting 100 post on low quality low relevancy blog is worthless. Try to write few guest post but really good and have them published on High level blogs, relevant to your niche. In less than a couple of months we doubled our organic traffic mainly through guest posts.

Some sites offer free guest posting and some sites charge for guest posting. The sites that offer guest posting are looking for free content, whereas the site that charges for guest posting are giving you a platform to build backlink. By the way, you can also offer free or paid guest posting on your website.

This act of guest posting is actually a good idea and I feel that I can activate it for my blog because I need some quality content for that blog site and guest posting happens to be an effective means to get good contents and by extension great articles for my blog.
