CMS

Hey Everyone,

Do you use a CMS? If so which one and why? What do you think the most important features of a CMS are?

Note a CMS is a content management system like Joomla or Drupal.

I use WordPress because it's easy to manage, lightweight and easy to optimize.


I've used Joomla in the past, but it was always so confusing and difficult to work with.

Joomla - tried twice and quit. That stuff is confusing!
But then drupal is worse I guess! :/

Drupal is way worse, I used to use Joomla but their constant updates have killed of all the mods and themes you can use for them.. And what's with this development path 1.0,1.5,1.6,1.7,2.5?

Wordpress is a blog software not a CMS but it can be used as a CMS which is what I usually use...

I tried Joomla and hate it, Drupal is okay but the features are a bit too bland for my liking. I used to be a hardcore PhpNuke guy way back in the day. I think its still around now but I don't like using it anymore.

I wouldn't bother using a CMS that doesn't have a huge community behind it. It defeats the purpose of it, you'd have less mods and less themes. Drupal was way too confusing and I never got it.

I've heard of phpNuke before, I've never actually tried it though.
