The clickthrough rate (CTR) is referred to as the total number of users who saw a page, email, or ad in comparison with users who click on a particular link. This ratio is usually used to measure the success of a promotional campaign. Such as web campaigns and emails.

Working with click-through rate for campaigns is great. The first online ad display for AT & T was launched on HotWired in 1994. Whose click rate was about 44%.

Target

The goal of the click rate is to measure the click-to-rate ratio for online advertising and marketing email. In general, the highest CTR rates have the most impact on your campaigns and bringing people to your website. Most commercial websites are designed to identify a variety of behaviors, such as: buying a book, reading news or articles, watching videos or music, or searching for flights. People rarely enter a website to watch the ad, or sit to watch TV for viewing.

Structure
Click-through rate refers to the total number of clicks on the ad divided into the total view. (Number of times the ad is displayed):

Click rate = click (#) / show (#)

Online CTR Advertising
Now, if we want to scale this, we multiply it by 100. For example, if a banner is delivered 100 times (100 views) and one click, then the percentage of its click rate will be 1%.

When the ad banner starts to work for the first time, it's not unnatural that its click rate exceeds 5%. At the moment, the average clickthrough rate is close to 0.2 or 0.3 percent. In most cases, the 2% click rate is very successful. Although this rate is heavily dependent on the conditions and advertising. The average clickthrough rate in the 1990s was about 3%, up from 2.4% in 2002, up from 2.4%. At the same time, advertisers are paying a boost to increase their site ctr. For this reason, there can not be much to come up with low payments.
Modern ads have gone through banners. The popular search engine like Bing and Google allows advertisers to display ads alongside the search results of these search engines. These ads include links, text, phone, address, and a product screen. Additionally, ads can be displayed to those who are looking for the product and are looking for a specific product in Google and Bing search engines. They do. And like banner ads, not all users will be displayed. This will increase the CTR. Because such ads act in the targeting of users. These ads are Pay Per Click.

Email CTR Rates

ctr in google adwords

The rate of email clicks is called the number of clicks on the email link received on the pages they enter.

The percentage of email clicks is displayed in the final form, and the number of clicks is divided by the number of messages sent.

Most email marketing firms use measurements such as open rate, bounce rate and other measurements for campaigns to understand the impact of marketing and success. In general, there is no ideal CTR. This method of measurement can vary based on the type of email, the number of emails sent, the list of people who are sent to them, how they can communicate with your audience, and many other factors. Even the specific times of the day can also change this rate. On Fridays, this email clicks rate is more than the other days.

Every year, studies are being conducted to further influence the click rate on e-mail marketers.
