I'm trying to get www.thebookstore.co.nz off the ground. Do you have any marketing tips?

I have always wanted to start a charity project, but now I don't have the time as I have a full time work!
So I have thought about these ideas which will be helpful to get the site off the grounds.

Take the money you earned yet and goto a place where you can help people or go with some organization which does these kind of stuffs. Take some videos or pictures to show that you're doing what you have promised and get those to your local news paper or make some flyers and circulate it!
