If you're buying a site or prepared to invest money into a web business- where would you look to get the best deals? I personally would look at less established marketplaces like that of ForumPromotion because you're more likely to find a better deal. There are risks though... Opinions? :)

I think that this is a good idea. You could get a domain considerably cheaper on a less established market

That's what I like about the idea. AdminsHut was on offer for $80, and had 15,000 posts, which on DP or another marketplace would have sold for a lot more! :)

That was a VERY small price for a site that ranked well in the search engines and with some work would have been a success. Anyway, not my business to talk about prices. I like to go in various places to find editors and deals. And, if you're careful who's working with you, it's not too likely that you'd get scammed. I work on few posts with my editors and then hire for more, this allows me to keep an eye an weed out the bad ones. Not to mention I don't pay upfront anyway
