Buying Back Your Expired Domain

Have you ever tried to buy back your domain after you let it expire? Once, I did not have money to renew the domain so I let it expire. However after a week, I received money and I tried buying back the expired domain. It was not an easy process though, I had to talk to the support team of my domain registrar.

I've never had to, but I've been close to doing it. I've heard of people easily buying their domains back, but I'm sure there were some questions you had to answer. Why did you need to contact support?

Since I was buying back expired domains, it was not as easy as registering a new domain. The domain were not yet released in the market and it was under the control of the domain register, therefore, I had to contact support to get my domains back.
