Kickstarter is a crowdfunding platform where you can create a funding campaign for your business or even non-profit project. This is a genuine platform where the registered users donate to the genuine campaigns. IN order to create a successful campaign, you need to pitch your idea with text, images and videos. You also need to verify your social media accounts.

I think this is a good idea of funding your business but it does not work very well in my country.

I think these funding programs cannot work in India unless they are run by religious or political organizations

This is a good business funding platform, but this takes time because only a generous heart will willingly donate for someone's business unless they have huge potential from benefit it. Social media platforms also help a lot of get more public to view your post.

Kickstarter is definitely a great way to be able to get funding for your business startup. As long as you have the details needed to prove that you are using the funds for the business startup you are mentioning, many people will want to help to ensure that the business you wish to start becomes a reality.

Kickstarter works well when your campaign is related to creating something unique or something useful. let's say you are trying to develop a product but do not have funds. You can create a campaign on Kickstarter explaining what your product is all about how people are going to benefit from it. People interested in your product will start donating. However, kickstarer is also take all or take nothing platform. You can get money only when your campaign is fully funded.

Kickstarter is an excellent idea and I applaud anyone that started it in your location. I don't think it can be seen in my country at the moment. What I think is that this is going to help a lot of people with business ideas have a shot at winning grants that they will use to start up their businesses which is pretty cool.

I dont know if it's a good idea to use it for business funding, but I can see it used to help establish a business, and help get it set up. But I don't know if I it's even legal to just use it to get money to then pay for your employees, that should come from the business itself, not a crowdfunding campaign. The campaign should be used to help start the company and maybe pay employees once, but it shouldn't be used to just pay employees, as that will look bad on your company as if you're having your community pay for your workers.

Well, donations on kickstarter projects can be done in my location but creating a campaign is restricted. Not just kickstarter but a lot of similar crowdfunding programs restrict my home country from launching a campaign.

Why is it so? I think maybe there were controversies that has struck and made some people report some of the campaigns that began in the past. No one will want to get involved in something that is littered with controversies especially businesses.

Kickstarter is a very good crowdfunding platform. I have know about it for years and there's been so many entrepreneur whom have been very lucky to get funded through the platform. It's not always easy to have your campaign funded because you have to very convincing and compelling with your business project.

Kickstarter has an interesting policy which is "take all or nothing." You can receive pledged money only when your campaign goals are met, if your campaign goals are not met, you cannot get the money.

It's actually a very good strategy in my opinion because there's going to be a lot of people who would just be looking at using the platform to get free money with shaby cooked up campaign. If they don't set a standard, it will be taken advantage of.

Why I've never considered using kickstarter platform is because I've never been willing to use funds raised from a crowd funding platforms to start up any business of my choice. I like saving my own money to be enough on the capital needed to do the business I want.
