Build your own house or buy pre-built?

If you could have your dream home, would you build it or buy a pre-built house, or one already built? I have always wanted to build my own home, or have one built for me. With floor plans somewhat made by me. I know the costs will be up there, but I think it'd be cool to have some say in how my home is built. Or, would you rather look at houses and buy one that fits your needs? What is your preference?

I would prefer to buy my own house rather than buy a pre-built house. I think I will be able to save money when I build my own house. I will also be able to build a house base don my orn preferance when I choose to builtr it. I would also be able to uase better materials to make a stronger house.
