If you're looking to start a new forum, chances are that you'll probably have to have a little bit of money. Whether you have a lot of money or just a little money, you'll have to pick and chose where you want to spend it. Ads, paid posting, paying staff, software purchases, and other various things can add up quickly. If you don't have a plan, you have a good shot of spending all your money too soon. With all that being said: How do you make your budget? Where do you put your money in the beginning?

For the beginning , you need to work on getting traffic to your site , as it is a new site , you may not consider investing in recruiting staff , you can run the site alone until the user base increases.
There is also need to moderate the site against trash posts which can affect revenue.

After spending 200$ to buy Bizdustry, I’ve spent 1000’s of dollars paying members, staff and former employees. This doesn’t include the software fee (XenForo and UseTitam), our web hosting costs, and something that costs much more. My time and patience.

At one point, we were spending more than we were bringing in at Bizdustry and this was our early acquisition budget to attract new comers to the forum. To gather the funds, your best bet would be through employment.

Your not just gathering funds, your gaining experience and learning a new skill in a trade. It also helps to work as the employee before becoming a leader of a company.

Sometimes you have to have the faith to put everything you have into something for it to be successful, like Bizdustry.

I think you have to get some money to pay some members if you're running a paid to post site until the site is capable of generating income, first of all I think you need to buy a domain, you can hire a programmer to set up everything for you, you could spend up to $3000 for all this.

Bizdustry Admin have tried to run a PTP site, it isn't easy at all. I have thought about running one, but with such amount to be spent, if i don't find alternative i can't recover it.

The first place I would put my money as a begginer forum owner would be on getting traffic to the forum to get contributors as much as I would want. That means I'll be using a lot of paid ads to achieve this aim

Though i dont know much about this field but i believe its not an easy job starting a forum and it is even a lot harder to maintain it and keep it growing. You need to also work on your growing traffic.

Hmm... I can see the reason why bizindustry is actually flourishing, because for a forum to be consistent for long like this must be based on budget before hand.

When I launched a forum, I started with zero budget. I already had a domain and hosting nd I used mybb, phpbb and smf, which re free forum scripts.
