Blogs vs. Forums

What do you like blogs or forums? Do you own a blog or a forum? Well, I own blogs as well as forums. Based on my experience, it is easy to run blogs but difficult to manage a forum. However, you need to create your blog content yourself or hire someone to create content, where as forum content is created by the users. Blogs have better chances of earning through ad networks but forums can earn through sponsorship and membership.

Blogs and forums are entirely two different sites,. it is not possible to make any kind of comparison. While the blog owner can control quality of content on his blog, forums being user generated site does not offer quality content. Forums mainly serve as a general discussion site.
