Do you have a blog on your forum? Well, currently, I am running two forums and one of the forums has a blog on the home page. Actually, I have been running this blog longer than the forum itself. I started the site as a blog on health and life style niche and later added a forum on the same niche.

I do not have a separate blog on my forum but my forum has article section where I users can submit articles. However, article publishing is exclusive to certain members, It is not available to all as I also need to maintain the quality.
