Blogs: How often do you post?

I have read that steady traffic only happens when you post regularly and it isn't until you reach 1000 posts do you really see any significant stats. I've been posting one entry a day, do you think this is enough? Does it matter what time of the day you post? How often do you think one should post on their blog for it to benefit the best?

I think that 1 post a day is pretty good. I used to do that, but I haven't been posting anything on my blog for a while... I kinda just ran out of ideas. But, in my opinion, quality > quantity, so I think it's better to have a couple of excellent posts as opposed to a lot of low-quality posts.

I try to post daily but I don't manage to write everyday :S
A good tip given to me was to post as much as possible and I try to follow it

I don't post on my blog nearly as much as I'd like. Once every couple weeks, if not longer. I'm pretty bad at posting on my blog.

I do not run a blog, but I guess the key is to post once or twice per day. At lease 4 times a week for definite.

On my forum, I make at least 10 posts a week, though I have been trying for 5 a day

I have never owned a blog before. If I did owner a blog, I would post every week. I think posting daily is to much until your blog has grown is successful.
