Black Friday deals for gaming looks awful this year

Does anyone notice that a lot of the Black Friday deals for gaming has been pretty awful? Most games haven't lowered by much, and I don't get it. In the past, when Black Friday was awesome for deals, you could get games for much cheaper, like $5, $10, $20 etc. But everything I see is showing much higher prices. I wanted to go out this year and pick up a few games, but this year I'm not because of how the prices have been.
