Better hosting services than GoDaddy

GoDaddy isn't bad, but I think it's limited these days. I would like to give something else a try, as I've been tired of using GoDaddy's services for quite a while now and have been wanting to try something new. Are there better alternatives to GoDaddy? Maybe something that is less in pay, but gives the same stuff? I'm curious to hear some suggestions.

Never used godaddy, therefore, cannot say what's their service like. I use namecheap and I can really vouch for it. I do not have a personal experience but I hear ipage is also realiable host. They give you free domain if you buy hosting.
