General Better as staff or a member?

What do you thrive better as on forums?

Do you work better as a staff member or do you thrive as a regular contributing member? Which one and why?

A staff member has responsibility and expectations, so I'd rather be a staff member on minimal forums. I would perhaps thrive as a staff member because I would show dedication to the forum. While I'm not required to do that on a forum I'm only a member of, you have more freedom as a regular member than a staff member, so it's wise to pick and choose what sites you want to be dedicated to.

I tend to thrive more as a staff member, only if I'm staff on a few different forums. I wouldn't want to get too overwhelmed and not be able to help out the forums I am staff on. I feel like I've created better, engaging content as a staff member than as a regular member.

I can be good both as a normal user as well as staff. On the sites where I have worked as a staff, I have never received any complains. On the sites where I am a normal member, I have never received warnings (except on a few occasions of course). However, my commitment for staff role depends on a lot of things.

I would say that I can thrive both as a staff member and as an active staff member.

I do enjoy being staff on forums and bringing my skills and expertise to the table to help forums thrive and grow.
