How many of you like how many cms? My favorite is Drupal since it was built best for seo and traffic, but it is hard to understand and the links make so great.
WordPress an easier, but it is too easy to hack and was hacked thrice my blog.

I like XenForo cause it's premium (paid staff with high incentive to fix things). Nonetheless, free software might not be that bad - if you know what I mean.

My vote is for wordpress, joomla and xenforo. I personally like to prefer working on wordpress.

I used Joomla long back and their clean themes make me greedy to use, but at that time my site was hacked 3 to 4 times. For this reason a friend of mine suggested to use Drupal.
@Jason
I think you are more fond of using Xenforo forums, that's why I see you build so many forums. I too used paid version of VB, but they stopped in middle for updating and the scrip had more glitches.

I feel like WordPress is the best solution. The actual standalone CMS system like Joomla and Drupal to me are so under used that they aren’t worth it. I never see them being used. I always see WP being used. The software that tends to get used the most is the software that tends to get updated the most.

my thoughts on it at least

There is no "best for everything" CMS.

The main thing anybody ought to do when looking for a CMS is to plunk down and compose an organized rundown of the relative multitude of things they need their CMS to accomplish for them. Deal with an information base? How huge? Serve clients? What number of? Send takes note? Oversee access? With what amount of security? Would you like to modify the look and feel? Which dialects would you say you know about? The rundown should be comprehensive; you will absolutely be depleted when it is enough fleshed out.

I like wordpress. It is easy to use, can be used without coding, search engine friendly, and can be used for small, medium or big websites. You can use wordpress to create any kind of websites, from a blog to social networking site.

What price is actually my best content management software and I have been using it for my blog for a very long time without any form of challenge whatsoever associated with using it.

Depends on what kind of website you are trying to create. Shopify can be one of the best script for dropship store where as xenforo can be best for forum and wordpress for blog

Even though it depends on the type of website you have but That one seems to be easy to hack and has many problems when using it,I prefer using wordpress.

The only one that i have ever used is the wordpress site, however i think that there are many others that are out there, however i have not had the time to venture into the others as well. I would like to learn about them though.

Here is mine:

Blogging: I will use Wordpress which is best to handle the website and run the website.
Forum: Xenforo which is best and cleanest forum software.

I had not heard about the second one that you mentioned relating to forums so i think that this would be great for me to look into for a future forum development that can accompany my ecommerce site.

Yes it is quite popular forum CMS which is more popular because of features and easy to manage your forum and much better than vBulletin and MyBB forums.

There is a lot of people that i have seen in here that have mentioned the mybb as a way in which to develop forums and this has marketted it to me to check it out as well.

WordPress is a pretty good CMS it has many plugins which are very useful. If you are hosting your website through WordPress it would provide seamless control.

Yes you should check it as it comes with great features and since open source you can make many changes too. Also they often provides updates means you have all bug fix in each updates.

Sorry about the hacking. Yes, Wordpress has many users, so many hackers are developing skills to hack it compared to the other CMS. I was using Joomla before i switched permanently to WordPress for my blogs. But for forums, i prefer Xenforo because of the ease of use and deployment. Drupal is equally good, but i find it to have a steep learning curve.

Wordpress from what i have been reading on this forum and the others that I am active on seems to be the best choice when it comes to beginners creating their own website. Is this the case?

If I had to pick a favorite software for content management, it would have to be Joomla since it is easier to understand the basics and the security is really watertight.
