I think hostgator is the best on the market right now and the cheapest package is $ 2.75 / month. it is not a large sum and it offers you many advantages!

I think someone suggested HostGator earlier and from research, it's one of the best providers available.
Besides that, there's also wpengine and others.
Though Amazon has the EC2 and other services that can be utilized.

Before anyone can suggest you a hosting package, you need to state your requirements, for instance, what kind of site you have, how much traffic you are expecting, how much money are you willing to spend, etc.
