Asking too many questions in one thread?

What do you think about asking more than one question in the same thread?
I have seen lots of people doing this and some times I too tend to do this. But as a replier what are your thoughts?

Is it a good idea to keep the people engaged or is it a bad idea like its some kind of turn off?

I guess it depends how the questions are asked, if it's in a poll it would be quite annoying. However if it is a member asking questions about a product that they aren't sure the answer to and as long as the questions aren't stupid then I am fine answering them to my best ability.
