Are you normally very active in group discussions or do you prefer to listen? I generally will sit in and listen into the discussion myself. I generally will only chime in when I feel like what I say will help with the work discussion, or if I feel the need to correct misinformation.

What about you?

I am a good listener but during group discussions, I am very vociferous and see that my opinion is heard. I am accommodative to other's views but I cannot tolerate unfounded ideas.

I think that being a great listener also involves being a good observer as well. It is very important to be a great observer when you focus on different things. People tend to focus on things that arouses interest. What do you think?

This is something that is always very common in group discussions because there is always a set of people that will keep on bringing unnecessary ideas that are only going to cause serious confusion to the subject that is being talked about in the group.

I am vocal in group discussions. I will always speak my mind and I don't give a damn what other people. However, this happens only when I am asked to speak, if my opinions are not sought, I never speak.

I'm very vocal in a group discussions. I loved being heard whenever I'm in a discussion. If I'm going to be in a group, I will participate and contribute in it. As it's a group discussion, there will be room for everyone to make their own opinion known.

You could invent anything and speak it is not required to have full knowledge of everything but even having small idea or having some peaces information is enough except if you do not have any idea then saying sorry until search about it.

As long as it's a discussion that I have some knowledge on what's been discussed, when it's time for me to add something to the discussion being given the chance to do so, I'm going to be very candid with my opinion. Once it's something that I don't know much, if I'm asked to contribute my opinion, I will decline to say anything.

It really depends on the subject that is being discussed in the group discussion that is going to push me into contributing so much because if it's something that is not that relevant in my opinion, I am just going to sit through the whole discussion and not saying much.

I would not even get into a group that do not interest me at all. This is because such kind of group would not be even relevant to me. It is much better to join a business group that you like the most and this is the only way of making sure you gain success.

As long as the group is actually in your workplace where everyone is supposed to be involved when a particular discussion is going on, you cannot avoid not being part of it but they cannot actually force you to contribute in whatever discussion that is going on if you are not interested in having your opinion heard about the discussion topic.

I think that in that case you can excuse yourself and part your ways. I remember joining a company and they added me to a whatsapp group. I continuously received messages as I was in that group. I asked the admin to allow me to leave and he granted my request to do so.
