Barbie was a hit and is still raking in the cash as we speak. But this is nothing new, we've had popular franchises based on toy lines and one that comes to mine is the Transformers series. That has continued on for over 15 years now I want to say. And then we got a movie based on Battleships the strategy game of all things. And now we might see a slew of more toy related movies coming. I heard that they already made a movie similar to the Lego movie, but about those other toy bricks. I forget the name though.
