Are video games getting worse?

With the way video games are releasing these days it made me wonder if video games are getting worse. Are they? Or, are video games the best they ever have been? I personally think that there are great video games released each year. But you also get some stinkers. Now days we get so many broken games, I don't know what to think. Developers and publishers must think we're dumb. We know they release games half baked to meet a street date. I think things need to change, what about you?
