Are they called Threads or Topics in your forum?

They are both basically the same thing but it's common thing that we all have differences when it comes to our diction.

When it comes to your forum, how do you refer to new content creation? Are they called topics or threads?

Well so far I have been working with different post to pay forums I have been seeing topic and once I click I do see, post thread and all of them seems to be same for me.

Sometimes I call them topics and sometimes call them threads. It does not matter what you call it as long as the topic or the thread on the forum is useful and interesting to the users.

They are called threads, that is the standard name for it. Anything that you can reply under is a thread. Topics can work too, but threads sounds better and unique.
