Hey everyone, just checking to see if we had any Digital Point users here. How long did it take you guys to become established? Gaining likes on your posts is tough! :wall:

Hey Collin. I have an account at Digital Point.

It actually is not hard at all. When they introduced this new rule I immediately set out into topics I consider my self an expert at and replied to threads of other people asking for help. People gave me likes fairly quickly.

Just post around. Post helpful posts and replies. If a helpful post has already been stated, don't reply basically saying the same thing unless you have something else to add on to it.

Maybe I was just trying to rush it. I actually think it's a great idea for a large forum like DP. I'll try to take on your advice, and hopefully I can become established soon. I just don't like the feeling of being limited! :p

I've had an account there for quite a while, although I have only recently become somewhat active. It's a busy forum, covering a lot of topics, with a lot of people who consider themselves to be experts, so it can be hard to get noticed. Plus, they don't tolerate filler posts well. Until recently, I pretty much stuck with the directories part of the forum, which is an area within my comfort zone.
