Alternatives to WordPress

They seem to have a monopoly on the blogging world. In fact, the only other blog I have heard of is from Blogspot. Well, Blogspot, though is not something you can install.

However, I know other blogging platforms exist. You see many on the Softalicious installing platform. Well, are any of them a real match for WordPress?

I have tried Wix, Web.com, and Shopify and they are easy and cheap to use. However, in terms of features, Wordpress is ahead of the game.

Wix you could create a website linked to your blog means Wix is in terms of use is better than WordPress which functionality is limited to only blogging or creating a dropshipping site.

Wordpress has a monopoly because it is open source. Witrhout spending a single dime users can use wordpress to create a variety of websites. However, there are many wordpress alternatives. When I say alternatives, I mean platforms that are open source just like wordpress. You can try Hugo, Ghost, or Jykell

WordPress is the very best when it comes to software website builder for blogs. It can be used to build forum websites too. Most of the time, I would find it very difficult to replace using WordPress for another website builder software but if I must, then the alternative I may consider are ; Hostinger Website Builder, Wix and Drupal.

I do not think website builders are the best alternatives to wordpress. While you might be able to build any kind of websites through website builders, there are a lot of shortcomings of using website builders. Content management systems like Drupal and Joomla can be good alternatives to wordpress provided you have moderate level of programming skills.

Ghost is a good option not a lot of people consider. If I didn't go with WordPress this would almost always be my second choice.

I have tested Ghost, it is good but since I am more comfortable using wordpress I am not running any sites buit with Ghost.

I've seen a lot of people that are making use of Ghost and according to them, it is something that is very good that serves all the needs that they want. The most important thing is for someone to make use of the builder that is more convenient and easy for the person to manipulate for their own bettermentm

If you want a free alternative like WordPress then you can consider Drupal, Joomla, Blogger, etc. I don't think any direct competitor to WordPress is there in terms of affordability, and customization.

Joomla is the best alternative to WordPress according to some of my friends who are currently making use of it. It saves them cost when it comes to their websites and blog management. They had to run from using Xenforo because it's too expensive but the best software in their opinion.

It's why I prefer using WordPress over any other alternatives too. Ghost is good, it can never be denied but it's not better than WordPress. There are assorted plugins on WordPress which can't be seen the same way in other alternatives.
