Do you feel you could make more than from the reseller situation? How much less or more might you make? What are some advantages and disadvantages of both platforms, if that's what you call them?

Well, I do know that reseller hosting requires to run a hosting company while an affiliate thing is only about selling. However, I have seen a hybrid of the two one time.

If you promote affiliate programs for hosting companies, you do not have to pay any fees, the money you earn comes free. However, if you do reselling, you will have to pay subscription fees. Therefore, promoting through an affiliate program is better than a reseller program. I have promoted Namecheap and made some money.
