In the quest for lucrative online ventures, many tout affiliate marketing as the premier choice. The appeal lies in its avoidance of costly inventory investments and the alleviation of manufacturing hassles. With no packaging or shipping concerns, the process seems streamlined, eliminating the waiting game for products to reach the buyer. The added bonus? No customer service entanglements. The prevailing advice echoes the simplicity of promoting a link to drive sales, yet reality often diverges from this optimistic outlook.
On the other hand, Print-On-Demand offers a different avenue, circumventing the need for personal inventory acquisition or product manufacturing. This approach also sidesteps the complexities of packaging and shipping. The crux of this method involves crafting a product design using graphic design tools, subsequently uploading it to a Print-On-Demand shop, and creating a mockup. For those leveraging platforms like Etsy, the entire process can be automated, including sales generation (you might have to run ads, though)

Print on demand (POD) businesses offer unique advantages over affiliate marketing. First, POD allows for custom-branded products, enhancing brand identity. Second, it provides a tangible product for customers, fostering a deeper connection. Third, the profit margin in POD is often higher, as you control product prices. Lastly, POD allows flexibility in design and niche selection, catering to diverse markets. In contrast, affiliate marketing relies on promoting others' products, limiting branding opportunities, and offering intangible services. POD's tangible, customizable nature, coupled with higher profit potential and market versatility, positions it as a preferable option for entrepreneurs

I think that both have their complexity but personally I have done better with printing on demand since thanks to it I have managed to earn a few dollars, on the other hand with affiliates I have not been able to earn anything, it all depends on each particular case. , how much time you have, the strategy you have and so on.

I will go for Print on demand as it better than affiliate marketing. You can make quick money with custom-branded products, enhancing brand identity.
