Advertisement blockers?

So, do you use either an advertisement blocker extension, or a ad-blocker within the browser? Do you disable them on some websites where you are wanting to show your support to the website owner or content creator for their services? I use Brave and pick/choose for which sites to whitelist.

I use an ad blocker but if I want to support the forum or blog I will turn it off.

I use Adblock on Chrome and the standard adblock that comes with Firefox, as well as DisconnectMe and Privacy Badger. I have also used Brave on occasion.

I consider supporting my favorite creators and sites through donations, purchases, hard work, and advertising them on social media and through my websites for free. I think if you're a legitimate organization with a product that I want, you should be rewarded, but I maintain freedom of choice about who I reward and purchase from and I don't want to be manipulated.

I use 3 different adblockers in my browser. Opera comes with one built in. I've also taken the liberty to add in Adblock and uBlock Origin to take care of ads that are not blocked by the other extensions.
