Do you do exchanges with other people to get some activity going on your forum? Especially if it's new? Do you keep doing it to a certain point? If so, what is the stopping point for you?

I think that exchanges on a forum in order to increase activity is a great thing because this will have organic traffic which is the most important when it comes to the future development as well.

i also think that the exchanging section should remain active as well and the forum members should be encourage to use it for legit services on the forum. This also increases member co-operation as well.

I have see a lot of forum owners join other forums in order to get exchanges, and I believe this is a good strategy to build members and content if you are very new to the market. But this should not be a long term strategy

I also think the sharing section should still be enabled and forum members should be encouraged to use it for legitimate services on the forums. This also increases member collaboration.

I also believe that the trading section should continue to be active and that forum users should be encouraged to use it for official forum services.
Additionally, this fosters greater member cooperation.

I don't own a website for now, but i believe exchanges with other people get some activities on one's site and could also help to drive traffic to one's site.

I frequently do post exchanges with other forum members. This will not only bring new members on my forums but also build activities. When I do post exchange, I also bring quality posters.

Well, this is a really new concept as I have never heard this before. Does this require you to post on others' forum and ask them to post on your forum in exchange?

Yes, you have to post on someone's forum in order to get posts on your forum. That's why it is called an exchange. I even had an exchange with Alex. He posted on my forum and I had to pay back.
