WordPress Forums

Have you used WordPress to build a forum? You can build forums on WordPress by using plugins such as wpforo, Discsson Bard, bbPress, etc. I have a forum built with WordPress. The reason why I used WordPress is that WordPress is easy to use content management system. Another reason for using WordPress is I can easily integrate blogs.

I knew you could use WordPress to build a forum but I haven't done it myself. I remember the forum that I co-own, we did use WordPress as a main home page before we got an addon for Xenforo and I have used WordPress for blogs but forums is one I have never tried yet. I have used forums on WordPress though.

I've used bbPress before and found it to have limited features as a forum.

wpForum was more of a modern forum like system.

But nothing beats a standalone forum software IMO
