What's the most effective way to present content on social media?

Specifically Facebook and Twitter.

I have a new blog and I want to start pushing the content on social media. What's the most effective strategy for this?

As always, it's starts with audience. It's crucial to know what audience you're targeting. In your case, being a gaming/geek blog: Casual gamers will visit gaming blogs for recommendations, tips and reviews. These are less likely to engage within a community. Hardcore gamers are more passionate and will likely engage more on your content. But are less interested in recommendations and they are well aware of everything already.

I think it's best to offer content for both audiences. There's much more audience groups, but they will most likely care less about the content you deliver. Streamers, retro gamers, parents, game devs and eSports.

I'd start out with a plan to push new content every day but you've got some great writers already so that won't be a problem. High-quality visuals, including images, videos, and graphics. Visual content tends to perform better and capture more attention on social media. I'd even use reels, they are very popular right now. Join some gaming groups and post your content there where allowed.
