Must have Add - ons

What are some must have add-ons or code you should have on a newly beginning forum? What are things that you think make or break a community?

I use Jcink, so we don't really have "add-ons", just codes you add to a text area in the Admin CP to be deposited in the page source. I think the multi-quote code is one most forums should have, we have a text resizer script on my board too that I'm sure many appreciate because by default the font is pretty small, one of the more popular codes I use is the "Select All" option for codes deposited into the code BBCode. Those are probably some of my top picks.
