Dark or Light Themes on Forums/Blogs

Do you prefer dark or light themes on forums/blogs?

I like to use dark on sites that I visit, most sites nowadays have the option for light or dark.

I have both on my forums but I prefer dark ones. The only reason I made the default theme on FA light because the default theme on OT is dark, but you can change them to suit your needs of course.

Staring at a screen is going to harm your eyes either way, but dark is more comfortable.

Depends really on the day I mean I like both and I use a theme that has an option that does light and dark

End of the day options are set for people to pick on what they like rather then a single dark or light theme.

I prefer light themes because I read an article somewhere that dark theme is actually harder on your eyes. It's easier for eyeballs to process dark text on a light background than gaps of lightness in the midst of darkness that is actually text.

I tend to spend a lot of time on the PC being that I work from home and a lot of my work is done on forums or even blogs.

Due to how much time I spend online on forums and blogs, having a dark option on both is better for me and my eyes to prevent eye strain.

I like light theme on blogs and forums. Blogs are content site where you read articles, and forums are content site where you post, I find easier to write and read when the website uses light theme. I do not like website that uses dark themes.
