Buying domains, holding onto them and selling them also known as domain flipping is something that is quite popular, especially to those who tend to do a lot of domain flipping and fully understand the process to make a profit.

I have in the past considered domain flipping but the one thing that always put me off trying it was how to estimate how much a domain would be worth at the time I wanted to sell it.

How do you determine the price of a domain name? Is there a method or a site you can use?

I just use Godaddy's Domain Appraisal to determine how much a domain name is worth. I haven't sold any of my domains yet, I might in the future. It's a fun tool to use just to see how much your domains are worth even if you're not thinking of selling any of them.

Yeah, but the price that comes too doesn't mean it's worth that One of my Domains stating it's $2,374
