The DIY Thing of Certain Free Forum Software

I created a likes/dislikes code for Jcink, which is the closest code you'll probably find to a reaction modification. Though, it's a really sucky way of viewing the information where you have to hover over each element inside of a post to reveal the likes/dislikes since it was created with the power of AJAX, and not activating it on hover would basically mean using multitudes of AJAX requests in one setting. Those are the types of sacrifices you have to make when you don't self-host your own forum and you rely on it to be hosted by the software itself.

I really wanted to use phpBB for my main site, but I don't have enough skill to create a Reactions mod. Anyway, on my MyBB forums, it was a struggle to make things work but it eventually got done.
There is a paid reactions mod that I purchased for my phpBB site. You can find it on this website here, not really sure why it's not on the official phpBB website though. It works really well! https://www.canidev.com/store/cbb-reactions?lang=en

Good find 👍. Maybe I can use for my other sites. The price is good too, even though it's underpriced. Well, I don't know his financial situation.

Chances are it’s not about making money, as much as it is keeping away the timewasters and the choosing beggars.
