We do know how people enjoy discussing movies, tv series, music, books, food, sports etc. But, if we were to make one category and then add all of these forums inside, that will make forum crowded and maybe more annoying to navigate. What would you say is the optimum number of categories needed for a user to find forum enjoyable and desirable to stay?
This may depend also on what niche forum is, however, what would you say?
Personally (right now) I have 3 categories of witch one is garbage (for locked spam topics).
First category has 2 forums and second category has 4 forums. It is not a lot but it makes it easier for people to talk (I think).
