The bad side is many people are jealous and want to criticize others for their financial decisions.

If I had a large amount of money, I'd give it all to my two stepchildren. I have no biological children, but I see them as my kids and love them as my kids.

If I could help set them up, I would. But I also would teach them how to be responsible about it. One is married in his 20s and owns his own home. The other is 18, and she's in college on grants and scholarships. I really don't think I'd have to explain a lot, but I would tell them to ignore those who criticize and are jealous because they don't matter.
