Have your boss ever slapped you?

I have heard about so many cases of abuse of workers in their respective workplaces, have you had any personal experience with such kind of work abuse? Have you found yourself in a situation where your boss got physical and slapped you?

How did you react? Did you take any legal actions against him or her?

I’ve never had a boss slap me nor anyone for that matter.

I've only been slapped two different times in my life and they were both women, neither of which was a boss.

Any of my "bosses" did that... they'd be needing some dental work done, if not jaw repairs.

I've never been touched by any of the bosses I've worked under. I've been screamed and yelled at, but never assaulted.

I never had a boss physically harm me lol. If that was the case, I'd take it up to HR and mention it to them that this is obviously unprofessional behavior, and unethical as well. I never heard of such a thing though...

No and something is critically wrong if that's a thing that happens. That's hot water even in the US military.

No, I work as a software developer (and I mostly work from home anyway), so it'd be very unusual for those circumstances to even arise.

(On the other hand, slapping our computers is another matter ...)
