Do you pay for email services?

Do you pay for email premiums or do you just go with the free version?

I go with the free version(gmail).

I have (for my household members) Google Workspace. Primarily because we've used the same domain email address for 21 years. We also have more features/functions available to us than we would on the free gmail account.
I also have ZoHo that I use for some contact emails for my primary site (those that I expect to get and send email from) and use SES for my transactional email for my site.
I used to have (it's probably been purged by now) a Gmail address that was associated with my old Android phones, but I've been off Android since the iPhone 4 was released.
Even now I have an Apple ICloud email that I'm not sure of the address of since I never use it access to but never configured.

I pay proton. Don't need to but I have sufficient interest and faith in the company I want to on principle, plus I have some demands for private use that make its lower plans useful.
