For me it depends on the type of Horror movie but most times I could have the lights off.

I could but it's a big strain on my eyes, so I prefer to have the lights on. Not very many horror movies scare me. It's the mind games ones that make me the most uncomfortable other than any gore and killing.

I rather have a light on. I don't care if it is a dim light, but in the complete dark is a no go for me xD I'll just bring a blanket and hide my face. In theaters it's not so bad though because the screen lights up the room a lot of the time so I don't feel like it is too dark.

Last horror film I watched I just laughed like a drain. Lights on or off doesn't bother me.

At least if the rest of the cinema screams you're not alone :p

Exactly! XD But this is also why I can't hold the popcorn at the movie theater, I always worry I'm going to throw it into the air!

I only watch horror movies with the light off. :p It's the best way to watch a horror film in my opinion. It adds to the eeriness and it's much better to watch them at night when you don't get any sunlight coming in. Or if you have blackout curtains, that'll work too.

Same here, my eyes get very tired if I even try watching TV in the dark.

I love horror movies but don't find them scary enough.
