I've had the pleasure to send @Demon_skeith some questions about himself and his forum Gaming Latest.

Can you tell me and the community more about yourself? Who are you, what's your age, gender, where are you from ?

I'm no one special, just a typical average day demonic male. Recently 32 and endure the day to day weather of the Midwest.

What is your greatest strength being a webmaster ?

Just never giving up, there were lots of times the GL community went dead or I got a large cash offer for the site to be purchased. But I kept on going!

What is your greatest accomplishment ?

Having my site last longer than 15 years, not many can say that!

How long have you been on forums in general? What's the history behind you?

Uhhh, I think I first joined up on the G4 TV's Video game cheat forum way back in the year 2006, joined some active groups on there. Not long after, one of the members started their own site called Gamingforce and the rest is history.

What's the most successful forum you ever owned?

The one and only Gaming Latest site!

What has inspired you to start your forum?

When said member from above made their own site, they didn't last long, so I took it over. I don't have much of an active life, so I just kept at the site and found it to be a good time killer. Nothing like owning your own place, am I right?

Can you tell us more about the software your site is running and why you have chosen that software

The latest Xenforo, I enjoy its look and ease of use. I was a big IPB person for years, but not a fan of them these days.

Where do you see your forum heading in a couple of years? What are your goals?

I see it staying the course, just being open to anyone who wants to join, be active and discuss latest things. My goal is always the same, have a friendly community going to be enjoyed by all.

How often do you work on your forum, creating new content, adding news, doing back-end stuff?

At least an hour a day, just a little each day, leads to a lot more things being done.

Do you consider yourself an expert webmaster? Are there aspects that you'd like to know better ?

I'm far from being an expert. I would really like to learn more about general online programming and skin/theme creations.

Do you like to have each detail set up the way you want it and have everything go perfect? Or are you more laid back and fix a couple settings and let things fall into place on their own?

Laid back and let things fall into place, if you try to control too much, people don't have fun and tend to leave the site.

Do you pick staff according to their popularity on forums, or their personality?

I just pick people at random and try to get a good vibe on, I tried the whole get by popularity thing sometime ago, but it never panned out.

How do you advertise?

I don't advertise enough these days, but mostly getting links on other forums and lots of SEO work.

How do you maintain your traffic/income and keep members entertained?

I don't run the site for income, as for the other things, just luck and being an awesome admin and having an awesome staff crew.

So, that the end of the interview. I encourage you to take a look at Demon_Skeith's forum and join up if you're looking for a great gaming forum!
